Write emails to your elected representatives:
It only takes a minute. Brief expressions are fine.

• Write as many letters to as many people as you wish.
• Keep letters short and to-the-point.
• Be accurate, brief, and courteous.
• Three essential components include:
  
  
  1. the specific action you want;
  2. a simple, personal statement about why you feel strongly about the issue; and
  3. your return address and original signature.

• Email is fine, but regular post is best (you can also do both). If you do email, be sure it is well written.
• A phone call or FAX is useful.
• A personal visit to your MP's office is also effective.
• No postage is needed when sending a letter to the Prime Minister and Members of Parliament at their Parliament Hill offices.

I am imploring you to vote with conscience against war with IRAQ. I am imploring you to vote with conscience to preserve peace for a people that have already had to endure too much suffering. I am in agreement that Saddam Hussein has been a cruel and tyrannical despot and that his policies have been horrifyingly inhumane, but I do not agree with policies such as sanctions and now, war, as a way to deal with this man. Too many innocent people get hurt this way. Please vote against this action.
